Nothing is so Urgent
Whenever you get anxious or stressed out because other people are trying to pressure you into making a decision or finishing something off..stop and take a couple or three breaths. Deep cleansing breaths that renew and refresh your spirit. Nothing is so urgent that it has to be done right now.
I know it sounds crazy in a world where everything seems to run so fast, yet it’s true, nothing is so urgent that it needs to make you feel stressed out. Unless someone is choking to death right in front of you, you do not have to make a decision without taking some time, if you need to, to think about the consequences of the action.
Of course, if your boss asks you to do something, you want to get it done as fast as possible. But even then, you want to do it right. You want to feel good about what you are doing and above all, you want to feel good about yourself. So for now…nothing is so urgent that it has to take away your happiness and joy of living.
